New - Edamah appoints (MSCEB) as a lead consultant to design and supervise the project of Plage Algérie Hotels and Beach Club in Bahrain.

The real estate arm of Mumtalakat Holding Company, Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah), has disclosed plans to build two four-star hotels and a beach club at the beachside Plage Algeria project.

According to Bahrain News, Mohamed Salah El Din Engineering Consultants Bureau (MSCEB) has been named as the primary consultant for the Algeria Plage Hotels and Beach Club project, which is planned to transform Bahrain's southwestern region into a major tourism hotspot.

According to the report, the new properties will be the region's first hospitality offerings and will be managed by an international operator. Plage Algeria is a 1.5 million square metre master planned community with initial phases that include a developed beach and a beachfront street with hospitality, retail, and restaurant offerings.
